The purpose of this position is to promote and develop the products sold supplies business within named National and Regional supplies resellers including business strategy, “go to market” model and business plans.
Resellers will be, Stationers and very large Office Products & Supplies resellers.
Execute supplies business strategy and delivery of the business results through deployment of programs across channels and geographic markets.
Essential Functions
- Selling Activities
- Revenue growth
- Develop key relationships with senior management/directors with Supplies Partners ensuring the company supplies strategy is understood and deployed targets are achieved.
- Manage the activities of key personnel within the individual distributor
- Develop, promote and deliver channel branding accreditation program to develop pipeline of select supplies and resellers.
- Ensure a reseller / Distributor Account Development Plan is created for each distribution partner and key select resellers to achieve sales revenue targets.
- Review all Account Development Plans monthly to identify key successes or failures with key contacts within nominated distributors/ select supplies resellers.
- Support the Reseller Development Plan with sales and marketing activities in the distributor/select supplies resellers.
- Keep abreast of competitor activities, programs and incentives
- Cultivate new prospects with marketing demand generation techniques

- The National Supplies Account Manager requires the ability to identify partner opportunities through an in depth knowledge of our external customers strategic and business needs.
- By demonstrating expertise in relationship skills which promote and enable development of new relationships, the position-holder is seen as a thought leader and sought out by the client for business advice.
Education Required
- BS/BA Degree preferred
- Experience and Skills Required (describe minimum experience and relevant skills required)
- Previous experience of printer channel sales and business development essential.
- Operational experience in distribution and channels business operations essential with least 5 years experience in an indirect channel sales environment.
- Experience in sales of consumables
- Knowledge of operational processes and experience working within the field and internal organizations
- Organized, with ability to handle multiple deliverables, priorities and targets
- Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to external customers with proven negotiating skills
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen in sales and marketing
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong self-initiative and results oriented
