The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) was established by an Act of Parliament in July 2012. NACADA is mandated to coordinate a multi-sectoral effort aimed at preventing, controlling and mitigating the impact of alcohol and drug abuse in Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities
 
Supervision of office services – telephone, cleaning, messengers and registry
Allocation of office accommodation, furniture and equipment and keep records thereof.
Effective management and administration of transport services including allocation of vehicles and supervision of drivers
Undertake coordinated maintenance of office buildings
Coordinate vehicle maintenance and servicing, cleaning services
Authorize vehicle journeys and administer work tickets.
Procurement of insurance for motor vehicles.
Settle utility bills – water and electricity – and keep records thereof.
Co-ordinate security matters in all NACADA Offices.
Co-ordinate the conduct of fire drills in consultation with the appropriate safety agents, and put in place safety equipment like fire extinguishers.


Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Management/ Business Administration from a recognized institution
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience;
Ability to work under minimal supervision;
Have high level of integrity and a Team player.
Have excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills;
Be fluent in written and spoken Swahili and English
Excellent computer skills
