The Company invites applications from qualified persons for the position of:- Safety Officer
Duties:
Interprets and evaluates the Company’s compliance with applicable safety rules.
Develop, recommend, and implement policy on health/safety protection;
develops accident prevention and loss control systems and programs and
ensures implementation throughout the Company.
Reviews safety procedures for new and
existing company projects to ensure compliance with fire, health, and
safety rules and carries through completion.
Monitor safety inspection programs, evaluates program maintenance and
determines priority of current workplace hazard correction.
Maintains relationship with DoSHS regulatory agency representatives to
remain current on changing standards and interpretations and to serve as
contact person for the Company.
Develops and implements health/safety induction or activities to improve awareness of safety and protection procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of occupational safety.
Knowledge of OSHA 2007, and the subsidiary legislations governing safety procedures and policies.
Skill in developing safety policies.
Skill in investigating and analysing accidents and their causes.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Diploma in Engineering, Biological sciences or related field AND at
least three years’ experience in safety, fire prevention, environmental
health, industrial hygiene or related field, with a valid driving
licence.
OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which
comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Must be 25 – 35 years of age

Duties and responsibilities
The sub-county administrator shall be responsible for the coordination, management and supervision of the general administrative functions in the sub-county unit, and will be answerable to the Chief Officer, Public Service and Administration.
Duties will include:
The development of policies and plans;
Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;
The provision and maintenance of infrastructure and facilities of public services;
Exercise any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board under section 86 of The County Government Act, 2012;
Facilitation and coordination of citizen participation in the development of policies and delivery of services
Coordinating the management and supervision of general administrative functions
Ensuring effective service delivery;
Ensuring compliance with the National Values and Principles of good governance as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya.
Performing any other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Be a Kenyan citizen,
Be a holder of a bachelor’s degree from a University recognized in Kenya,
Have working experience of not less than 10 years,
Have qualifications and experience in administration or management,
Satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the constitution.
Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles as outlined in articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya.
Be computer literate.
Remuneration
Salary: Kshs.89,748 – Kshs.120,270 p.m.
House allowance: Kshs. 20,000 p.m.

Role: Reporting
to the CEO, the Security Manager will be responsible for performing a variety
of Management functions in planning and implementing security policies and
procedures and coordinating their implementation. Manage, oversee and supervise
security operations in all EAC premises. His/Her Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures and enforce compliance.
- Orient all staff on security procedures and conduct security awareness programs.

- Background in criminal justice with proven knowledge of crime or fraud detection.
- At least 10 years experience in security management, law enforcement or military police holding the rank of chief inspector or above or its equivalent.

- Must be computer literate.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent interpersonal, communication and managerial skills, ability to work odd/irregular hours.
